Hello There Handsome - Tag and Gift Box

For my current giveaway click : Take Time to Enjoy the Little Things

Today I have a special treat box for you.  If you've followed my blog for a while, you know that I enjoy giving little treats to my family.  When I do, I like to dress them up a bit.  It's one of the ways that I make the "little things" more special.  For today's treat I altered a (recycled) mushroom box and turned it into a treat box.  I then took a manilla tag and turned it into an extra special tag for my husband.  Of course, there had to be a bit of 3 Girl Jam ribbon in there too.

Today's ribbon came from the Hot and Cold Pack.  These ribbons are so beautiful and perfect for my masculine project.  If you are interested in purchasing this bundle, click here to go to the 3 Girl Jam store.  You should really check out the other bundles too. In the meanwhile, lets get started.

I used papers from my scrap stash to cover the box.  I did not have any tissue paper or shreds in the right colors to put in the box, so I made my own.  Interested in how?  You'll have to watch the video.

I used a key, a word strip, and a swivel clasp from Tim Holtz, alphabet beads from Walmart, and brown/white twine from Martha Stewart to embellish the tag.  I also used my Fiskars scalloped sentiment punch.  An eyelet that came with my Crop-A-Dile was put in the hole in the tag from the Paper Company.  Beautiful Hot Chocolate and Ice Blue ribbon from 3 Girl Jam tied it all together.  The sentiment card was from My Mind's Eye (The Caroline Collection).

The final package was this cute little gift basket for my husband.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Take some time to enjoy the little things today.

Cheri, this is super terrific. My DH loves candy and this gives me some great ideas for small gifts to make for him, just to show I care.
Love the key and letter charms and adore the tag!

Like the way you use these tags in basket...Can i use it in Gift Card envelopes?

You could put it in an envelope depending on the size. However, mailing it would be difficult. The charms are bulky and heavy. If you mailed it, it would really need a padded envelope.
